Ain't Nobody Hurt, Play is OK

Christopher Martin, not of Coldplay fame, but of 'Play' fame, and star of such films as House Party, House Party 2, Class Act, and House Party 3, was driving a vehicle last Saturday that was struck by a man who had just been shot by police. Martin and his passenger were both discharged from the hospital on Wednesday.

So what has Christopher been up to recently, other than being hit by cars? In 2006, he began teaching a course entitled 'Hip Hop in Context' at North Carolina Central University.

And how can I post about Kid n' Play without also offering up a video from this famed early 90's rap duo. And, I'm going to make this interesting. First enjoy Kid n' Play's #1 hit "Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody" and then watch the funktastic 1978 original, also titled 'Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody' performed on Soul Train by jazz/funk group Brick. If Brick was still together, they'd probably be on Jam Cruise right now!
